Text Coding
A week ago we had a visitor from our local ISD do a lesson on text coding. She introduced the below codes and demonstrated while she did a read aloud.
Next, students chose a book on their own and used their Reader Response Notebooks for use their new text coding skills!
In class we also practiced making text to text connections using the story:
